Payment Schedule

$500 retainer due upon acceptance of contract - non refundable. Retainer is necessary to hold wedding date. No Exceptions.
Balance of contract is due 30 days before the wedding date. Additional orders are the responsibility of the bride and groom.

Policies

  1. It is necessary for a $500 retainer to be paid in order to hold a wedding date. The retainer is non-refundable and is subject to NYS sales tax.
  2. Upon signing contract for package chosen, balance will be due 30 days before wedding date. For no reason will originals be left with client if balance is unpaid.
  3. Discounts on enlargement orders will be given if orders are placed within 30 days from the date the client receives their previews. An enlargement order sheets will be provided and shows the discount prices and the normal prices after 30 days.
  4. Wedding album(s) must be created by client one(1) year from the date of receiving wedding originals. Wedding albums not created within one(1) year will be assessed a $100 charge for each year from the date of delivery of originals.

Welcome to Portraits at DCA Photography. Where you will experience a unique portrait session in your home or on location. Imagine having your portrait taken with your car, pet, or a special item that expresses your individual personality in an environment familiar to you.

THE SESSION

All portrait sessions are photographed on-location. The location for your portrait will be at the discretion of DCA Photography. The portrait session can last up to three hours. A creation fee must be paid two weeks in advance to hold your scheduled appointment. Creation fees are nonrefundable for a missed appointment. There are two types of sessions available for your portrait.

The first option is a studio setup using strobe lighting in your home. A pleasing area of your home or a painted muslin backdrop will be used to create the mood for your portrait. The creation fee for a studio setup indoors is $125.

The second option is a portrait session taken outdoors using natural daylight. An outdoor portrait will allow for the creative use of the surroundings such as artistic use of architecture to add to your portrait. A few examples of outdoor portraits might be a family posed on a fence in a wooded area or a child playing in a flower garden. The creation fee for a natural light session is $75. When choosing an outdoor location please take into consideration the light quality throughout the day. A more pleasing result in your session normally will occur when the sun is not directly overhead.

Please contact Daniel to discuss your portrait session and to set up an appointment. In case of bad weather during an outdoor portrait your session will be rescheduled.
